Appointments: Two make partner at Cobbetts; President role for Hill; and more

TWO directors in the Leeds office of law firm Cobbetts have been made partners.
Emma Roe in TMTI (Technology, Media, Trade and Infrastructure) and Rob Payne in banking litigation have each been promoted.
Managing partner Michael Shaw said: “Just as they have for many other industries, the last couple of years have been extremely challenging for the legal services market. The economic environment has required individuals to challenge received wisdom and to innovate in order to drive their firms forward.
“These promotions reflect the willingness of Emma and Rob, as well as numerous others across the firm, to introduce new approaches and ways of thinking for the benefit of our clients and employees.”
