Latest letting completes city centre office building’s line-up

Charity Bid Services is relocating to Gallery House on The Headrow in Leeds, taking the building to full occupancy.

The charity, which works to support people who are deaf, hard of hearing, visually impaired or have a dual sensory loss, has acquired 2,930 sq ft on a five year lease from landlord Headrow, managed by Wilton Developments.

This latest office deal, concluded by JLL, sees Bid Services join a tenant line up including Reed and Leeds Beckett University.

Joint property agents JLL and CBRE are currently marketing the remaining office space at the adjoining Phoenix House on South Parade. Three floors remain with suites available of between 2,400 – 2,700 sq ft.

Jason Stowe, from Wilton Developments, said: “Bid Services’ decision to relocate to Gallery House was driven by its desire to find a workspace that provided the right environment for staff and clients. This move is a real accolade to the building’s stylish space and business location in Leeds city centre. We are looking forward to a long-term relationship with them and hope they enjoy their new offices.”

Clem McDowell, senior surveyor at JLL, added: “With good quality office space remaining in short supply in Leeds city centre, Phoenix House, the sister building of Gallery House, has been refurbished to the same high standard. It will appeal to a variety of occupiers, looking for good quality, cost effective offices right in the heart of the city.”

Wilton Developments on behalf of Headrow acquired both office buildings at the start of 2017.  They are let to a number of tenants, including Superdrug, ISS Sellick Partnership and Sagar Wright.
