Former council office building launches to market
A two-storey, former council office block in Barnsley has been brought to market.
Oakwell House on Beevor Court, formerly tenanted by Barnsley Council and located next to Barnsley FC’s Oakwell Stadium, offers 9,079 sq ft of office accommodation and is currently earmarked for refurbishment.
The builing can be split to provide space from 4,116 sq ft to just over 9,079 sq ft having reception, WC, kitchen facilities, lift access serving both floors, raised access floors, carpeting, newly decorated, suspended ceiling and air conditioning and a gated car park.
FI Real Estate Management (FIREM), the property and asset management company, has appointed Knight Frank and Smiths Chartered Surveyors to bring the asset to the market.
The office block is being offered as a rare opportunity for businesses in the region to secure high specification accommodation.
