Traffic Alert: Crash causes closures on A1

The A1 in South Yorkshire is closed southbound this morning due to a crash between J38 (A638, South Elmsall) and J39 (A639, Pontefract).

Traffic is being diverted. From J38, take the A638 westbound and continue for approximately four miles. From here, take the third exit onto Wrangbrook Lane and continue for three miles to the junction with the A1 (Barnsdale Bar).
