Weekender: Fresh pasta pop-up collaborating with pizzeria

PAZZA, which specialises in fresh pasta and delicious sauces, will be bringing its take on the Italian staple to Leeds from mid-February, popping up at MOD Pizza in the city centre.

The PAZZA menu will consist of seven standout dishes, as well as a “build your own” concept. Show stopping dishes include Chicken and Chorizo Alfredo, made with fresh rigatoni, sundried tomatoes, spinach and parmesan, and Bolognese with beef and red wine, sage, thyme and parmesan.

The vegetarian and vegan offerings include favourites such as Al Pesto with spinach, courgettes, feta and fresh scialatelli, and the classic Pomodoro with oregano, garlic and a signature tomato sauce.

PAZZA will be open to the public from 14 February, where the people of Leeds will be able to enjoy the best of both MOD’s pizzas and PAZZA’s collection of dishes.

Look out for a PAZZA sampling airstream outside MOD Pizza on Bond Street on launch day, where lucky passers-by will be able to indulge in sample dishes between 11am and 3pm. The sampling airstream will be popping up again on Briggate the following day, also between 11am and 3pm.

MOD Pizza general manager Nic Bohanna said: “We are super excited to be collaborating with PAZZA and welcoming their fresh pasta to our restaurant in Leeds city centre.

“By coming together with the team at PAZZA, we are now able to offer not only the best pizza in Leeds, but also the tastiest, freshest pasta, all in a matter of minutes.”
