More jobs created at event management company
C2events, a Wakefield-based business, has taken on of ten new members of staff in the last 18 months and is looking to recruit additional employees.
The company was founded by Cheryl Clarke in 2004 and provides event management services, predominantly for the healthcare sector, across Europe and Worldwide.
Mark Saxby, executive director, said: “We have seen a strong period of growth in the business over a sustained period which has resulted in the appointments. The additional team members have excellent experience and will add real value to our client service and support teams.”
He noted that during 2019, C2 had 0% staff turnover, meaning the latest appointments are all supplementary to the existing team. He added that starters range from recent graduates to very experienced team members with several years’ healthcare event industry experience.
Founder and executive director, Cheryl Clarke, said: “We are delighted to have added to the team in this way. As a result of ongoing growth, we are planning further recruitment of five new team members.”
At the end of 2018, the firm featured in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 as one of the fastest growing private companies in Britain. In May 2019 the company was ranked in The Sunday Times Fast Track as the SME with the 26th fastest growing Export Sales.
