A new panellist has been confirmed for Friday’s webinar from TheBusinessDesk.com in partnership with law firm Freeths.

James Farrar, chief operating officer of York and North Yorkshire LEP is joining an expert panel who will consider what role Yorkshire can play in transforming the UK economy.
Part of a series of events taking place over the next month, that in the wake of the Government’s Levelling Up white paper will look at the role the region’s can play in growing UK plc.
This first event which will take place at 9am on Friday 18th will consider the strengths and opportunities which surround Yorkshire but also look at how the weaknesses and threats could be tackled to further deliver on the eternal goal of economic growth.
Farrar will be joined by Arup’s Tom Bridges, the vice chancellor of York university Professor Charlie Jeffery and John Flathers, partner at Freeths.
The panel will also discuss at how Government can avoid creating a gap between East andWest while closing the North-South divide.
