Waste management company targets £16m turnover as headcount grows

A York-headquartered waste management and recycling business has grown to 100 staff and now intends to expand its office to 18,000 sq ft from 12,000 sq ft.

BusinessWaste.co.uk, which launched in 2015, is committed to reducing wasteful landfills and works with companies to increase their recycling targets.

The firm now has over 27,000 customers and collects 16,831 bins a week.

David Adams, co-founder of the company, said: “We are happy that our business has grown to 100 staff and we’re on target for a £16m turnover.

“We’re passionate about making every UK business green and sustainable and we feel we have the power to do so.

“We’re continuing to put the right investment into our staff so that everyone thrives at Business Waste, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds.”
