Andy Thornton lands Heathrow Airport contract

ANDY Thornton, the Yorkshire hospitality furnishings and shopfitting specialist, has completed a major contract at Heathrow Airport.

The Elland-based company has supplied bespoke contract furniture to the new No 1 Heathrow Airport Lounge and Travel Spa at terminal three.

Having previously been a supplier to client No 1 Traveller at Gatwick and Stansted airports, the Heathrow contract is the latest to be handed to Andy Thornton by No 1 Traveller to furnish the flagship ‘super lounge’.

The company worked closely with the projects interior designers Inside Out Architecture on the specification.

Andy Thornton supplied chairs, cushions and other furnishings for the facility’s bar, bistro, lounge and terraced areas.

The company also provided bespoke furniture for the drawing room, Wii room and games room.
