Dyson leaves stock market

DYSON Group, the materials technology business, will leave the stock market today after shareholders voted in favour of it delisting.

The Sheffield-based company agreed a deal with its banks for them to take a majority stake in the business earlier this month.

Shareholders at Dyson’s extraordinary general meeting yesterday voted for the company to come off the sotck market.

Dyson said its restructuring continued to progress and it hoped to publish its accounts for the 18 months to September 30 2009 as soon as possible.
