Data capture specialist upbeat about future

BELGRAVIUM will tell its shareholders today that it continues to make good progress to improve its profitability.
The Bradford-based data capture systems specialist said that its sales team continued to be “very busy” with enquiries and that there were some substantial projects in the pipeline.
However, it said it remained difficult to predict when interest would be converted into firm orders.
The firm, which is holding its Annual General Meeting (AGM) today added: “In the meantime, we continue to make good progress with our strategic objectives and remain confident we are in a strong position to improve our profitability once financial confidence returns to our markets.”
Earlier this year Belgraviumn, which designs and installs real-time data capture systems in the logistics, petrochemical and mobile retailing markets, announced that pre-tax profits had increased to £405,000 from £398,000 for the year ended December 2009.
Its results also showed that revenue dipped slightly to £8.2m from £8.3m from the previous year.
