Launch for Yorkshire Coastal Cottages

A HOLIDAY cottage lettings business to service the Yorkshire market has been launched with the promise of job creation.

Yorkshire Coastal Cottages has been established by David Copley, formerly the senior partner of estate agency Beadnell Copley, marketing expert Susan Goss-Clements and sales specialist Robert Clements.

The service will specialise in four, five and five star gold properties.

Yorkshire Coastal Cottages has its head office in Leeds but has revealed plans to open a coastal office with the creation of up to 12 jobs.

Mr Copley said: “Consumers are increasingly demanding and want home-from-home luxury when they holiday; we don’t believe the standard booking agency model that dominates the sector adds sufficient value to owners or guests.”

Yorkshire Coastal Cottages has launched a portfolio of 50 cottages with the goal of managing 100 cottages by the end of the year.

Mrs Susan Goss-Clements: “The three partners bring together decades of experience across property, marketing, sales and tourism; the initial reaction from property owners to our proposition has been very positive.

“Yorkshire has so much to offer – we want to be able to promote the Yorkshire holiday and provide a truly superior service for holidaymakers and property owners alike.”

Yorkshire Coastal Cottages will cover Yorkshire’s coastline from Saltburn-by-the-Sea in the north to Bridlington in the south.
