STORM Brand Design is celebrating its inclusion in the league table of the top 100 design consultancies in the UK.
The company, based in Elland, West Yorkshire, works with customers including Halfords, Aldi, Wilkinson Stores, Cuisine de France, Booths Supermarkets, Dr. Oetker and Livwell.
Its position identifies the consultancy as the 14th top consultancy in its specialist discipline of branding and packaging design.
This makes them the fourth highest in fee income located outside London and the number one consultancy in the north.

CONTRACT packers, Mailway Packaging Solutions, has picked up two awards – winning Gold Starpack Awards in both the Best Brand Design and Toiletries and Cosmetics categories for its work on Nude Skincare’s new luxury range of ethical cosmetics.
The Bradford-based company delivered a UK-first packaging solution to ensure that Nude Skincare’s aim to use fully-recyclable products across all areas of production was met.
A material manufactured from biodegradable starch, which also used low-toxicity inks, was used as a primary form of decoration for the very first time.
Nude Skincare uses pre and pro-biotics, to strengthen the skins natural biology to reduce premature ageing and dehydration, and is sold in Space NK, Harvey Nichols, Harrods, Selfridges and Whole Food Market stores throughout the UK and Barneys of New York in the USA.

BUSINESS outsourcing provider Liberata has been shortlisted to win a £200m contract from Sheffield City Council.
If successful the consortia bid, which is headed up by Fujitsu in partnership with Liberata, would provide a number of services including revenue and benefits, information communication technology, financial business processing and payroll and human resources.
Liberata has already been working with Sheffield City Council in these areas for the last 10 years but the original contract is now coming to an end.
The core contract would be worth around £200m over seven years, not including investment in business transformation.

THE Angel Inn at Topcliffe near Thirsk, North Yorkshire, has been sold through property agents, Colliers Robert Barry, acting on behalf of Mowbray Hotels.
Easily accessible from the A1 and A19, the Angel is a traditional inn with good class all round hotel facilities including 15 en suite letting bedrooms, restaurant, bars, function suite, trade garden and large car park.
The new owner is Hartlepool based Camerons Brewery.
The sale price was not disclosed.
