Yorkshire Bank announces top team moves

YORKSHIRE Bank has announced its reorganised top team following news of the departure of operations director Glenn King.
Mr King, the Yorkshire-based UK operations director, is moving back to his native Australia to become chief executive of ServCo, a new services company which is being set up by Yorkshire and Clydesdale banks’ parent group, National Australia Bank.
From October 1 Kevin Page, the head of direct banking channels, will take over as operations director, joining the Yorkshire and Clydesdale Banks’ executive team.
Glasgow-based Mr Page has been with the bank for five years during which time he has held a number of senior roles. Under his direction, the Yorkshire and Clydesdale Banks’ call centre won the best contact centre of the year award in 2006.
In his new role he will be responsible for all Yorkshire and Clydesdale Banks’ UK property, performance and supplier services, commercial developments and payments, and customer service centre operations.
Dean Cutbill, products and marketing director for Yorkshire and Clydesdale Banks, will be taking over Mr King’s role as the executive team member representing the Yorkshire Bank brand. He will be given the job of maintaining and building relationships with the business community.
Mr Cutbill will be based in Leeds and will work with the other members of the Yorkshire Bank senior team, including chairman, Richard Gregory, head of retail banking, Gary Lumby, and business banking regional heads, Kath Myers and Brian Colquhoun.
