Richard Grafton in new joint venture

INTERIOR design business Richard Grafton Interiors has launched a new venture with interiors contractor Andrew Freestone.
The tie-up, to be known as Grafton Freestone, will handle all bedroom, bathroom and wet room project installations for Richard Grafton Interiors.
There are also plans for the business to deliver other projects including garden buildings and staircases.
Richard Grafton said: “Ensuring we are able to manage projects to the best quality and value is easier when you have a stake in the delivery company, and we share Andrew’s passion for design, craftsmanship project management and service.
“We are now able to offer a broader range of building and interiors projects from within our business all project managed by our own team, and we’re excited to have Grafton Freestone as an early complementary extension of our interiors brand.”
Mr Freestone spent 16 years with Helmsley-based bespoke staircase company Bisca and more recently headed his own business, AMF Designs in Leeds.
He said: “Grafton Freestone is about delivering exactly what the customer wants from a space with bespoke design and use of materials that make a living space special, inspiring and practical.
“Whether we are making the best practical use of a small space or creating a unique living area or palatial bathroom suite, we have the same approach, practical imagination and service standards.
“The fact that we are working in Yorkshire means we also have to deliver value, and that’s an offering that fits with Richard Grafton Interiors very well.”
Based in Harrogate, Grafton Freestone will initially employ three staff.
