Sale completed at Sykes property in Harrogate

A PROMINENT address in Harrogate owned by Meadowhall Shopping Centre developer Paul Sykes has been sold.

The range of buildings, overlooking The Stray in the North Yorkshire town, were put up for sale last summer for £5m, a price subsequently reduced to £4m.

The deal, negotiated by Knight Frank, has been completed for an undisclosed sum but it is understood Beech Villa and Beech Lodge will continue to be used for commercial purposes.

Tim Waring, head of Knight Frank’s residential office in Harrogate, said: “I can confirm that the property has been sold in its entirety for an undisclosed sum. The identity of the buyer remains private.”

TheBusinessDesk.com first revealed the address was on the market last June.
