Pennine leads the way

TWO further deals have been completed at Pennine Business Park in West Yorkshire.

Only one unit now remains at the business park, in Bradley, Huddersfield, following the completion of the deals by joint agents Eddisons and Walker Singleton on behalf of Commercial Development Projects.

Kinetic Systems has purchased of Unit 14 at the site, which measures 5,000 sq ft, off an asking price of £850,000.

Meanwhile, Interactive Driving Systems, which works with organisations to help improve driver standards and safety amongst their staff, has leased Unit six which extends to 4,000 sq ft off an asking rent of £60,000 per annum.

Paul Andrew, head of agency for the Huddersfield office of Eddisons, said: “To have achieved almost 100% occupancy, particularly in the current climate, is an exceptional achievement and further underlines the desirability of the Pennine Business Park as an office location.”

The last remaining office unit, which extends to 4,000 sq ft, is available to buy freehold for £680,000 or can be leased off an asking rent of £60,000 per year.

Richard Smith, of Walker Singleton, said: “The success of the Pennine Business Park speaks volumes for the quality of development CDP has created, which should achieve full occupancy very soon.”
