Arc gets set to open 10th new bar

ARC Inspirations is opening its tenth venue this month following a £800,000 investment.
The Pit, to be based in the Northern Quarter of Leeds, will be followed by the opening of another two bars set to open next year.
Leeds-headquartered Arc Inspirations was established in 1999 and opened its first bar, The Arc in Headingley, in 2000.
Martin Wolstencroft, managing director of Arc Inspirations, said: “This area of Leeds is one of the best locations for independents – we’re not about followers, we enjoy our independence and so do our customers.
“The Pit is very different to our other bars in Leeds, Harrogate and York. We are looking to grow our portfolio of bars in Yorkshire with two more opening next year. We want to enjoy the process of growing our portfolio.”
Arc Inspirations, which employs 400 staff, recently announced a £1m investment in York, with its ninth bar, the Banyan Bar & Kitchen on Little Stonegate. The Pit opens on August 31.
