CODA accounts for success
HARROGATE-BASED financial software business CODA has won its 6th
Accountancy Age Award.
The company's CODA-Financials product was announced
'Enterprise Software Package of the Year 2007' at the
Accountancy Age Awards this week.
CODA also had two further products short listed for
'Midrange Software Package of the Year' – Dream and CODA
2control Consolidation (formerly OCRA).
CODA-Financials has previously won the Enterprise Software category
in 2001, 2002, and 2005. The Dream product for growing businesses
won the Accountancy Age Award in 2002 and 2004 for the Best
Midrange Software Package. The company did not enter the awards in
2006.
Steve Dashwood, managing director of CODA GB said: “This
demonstrates the quality of the products and services we offer and
provides a ringing third-party endorsement. However, prestigious as
these awards are, true success can only be measured in the benefits
that our customers gain from our products. I would therefore like
to thank them all for their support, and particularly those
organizations that contributed testimonials as part of our entry
submissions.”
CODA creates and sells a range of software systems designed for
finance drectors and finance departments and is used by around
2,600 medium and large organisations in more than 100 countries in
a variety of markets and within both public and commercial
sectors..
The company was founded in Yorkshire in 1979 and now has around
600 employees working at 18 offices in 14 countries, with its main
site with about 500 staff at Cardale Park in Harrogate.
