Property entrepreneur launches new venture

A PROPERTY entrepreneur has taken on a new challenge and launched a hair salon business.

Mandip Sehmi, the managing director of Leeds-based property investment and lettings agent Diamond Properties, has opened Kiren’s Hair and Beauty in Hyde Park, Leeds.

Sehmi said he has invested £200,000 in the project – the first of a chain.

“This is the first salon of a chain we hope to open in Yorkshire.  We have already bought a second site in Horsforth and hoping to have that completed and open soon,” he said.

“The plan is to have three open by the end of the year.”
