New conference venue launches in Leeds

NHS Employers, the organisation which aims to be the voice of employers in the NHS, will open its new  8,300sq ft conference venue today.
 
Horizon Leeds is the first purpose built conference venue to meet the needs of the NHS and health economy in the North of England – reducing the need for private sector venues, therefore saving money for NHS organisations.
 
Developed by Leeds-based NHS Employers, it will be a new hub for meetings between major health organisations, helping them to travel less. Organisations with major offices in Leeds include the Department of Health, NHS England, The NHS Leadership Academy, Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and the Health and Social Care Information Centre.

The centre, in Brewery Wharf, Leeds, will also be made available to wider public and private sector organisations, providing an additional revenue stream to be reinvested in support of the NHS.
