Over the past 12 months WSB, also based in Leeds, has negotiated the successful acquisition of more than 250,000 sq ft of space in seven locations around the UK which has facilitated the rapid expansion of Xercise4less, cementing the company as one of the largest and most successful gym operators in the country and helping it secure a place in last years Fast Track 100.
WSB will now expand the property portfolio around the UK with Xercise4less due to open a further 10 sites over the next quarter with a target of over 100 gyms by the end of 2016.
Xercise4less which launched in Castleford in 2006 now has more than 200,000 members. Jon Wright CEO of Xercise4less said: “We have our sights on over 30 new gyms for this year which we are actively progressing. We are building a great brand and a solid business which is attractive to landlords.”
Duncan Senior, Partner at WSB commented: “This is a fantastic concept which from a property perspective has been well received by the market offering landlords an attractive solution to big space vacancies on long commitments, and is also great for customers offering value for money and more affordable membership than many other operators.”
New gyms have been acquired and opened in East Kilbride, Burnley, Liverpool, Renfrew, Falkirk, Edinburgh and Dudley.
