Appointments: Carter Jonas, Clugston Construction
BUILDING and engineering firm Clugston Construction has appointed Andy Mackintosh to head up its North East business.
The £143m-turnover Scunthorpe-based business has appointed Mr Mackintosh to the group’s Stockton-on-Tees office, a new office for the firm
He will be concentrating on projects in the further education, health, manufacturing and renewable energy sectors.
Prior to his appointment, Mr. Mackintosh was operations director at Willmott Dixon and was responsible for establishing the company’s North East operation.
Mr Mackintosh said: “There is clearly a strong partnering culture within Clugston, built on relationships and good business ethics. I am impressed with the quality of our people and recently completed projects. We have a strong foundation to achieve further growth.”

PROPERTY consultant Carter Jonas is expanding its Leeds office with the appointment of Tom Brown.
He joins as a graduate surveyor within the Carter Jonas commercial team after graduating from Sheffield Hallam University in 2014, with a year spent with chartered surveyors Carter Towler.
After graduating he joined commercial property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton based in Manchester.
He said: “Joining a prestigious organisation such as Carter Jonas so early in my career is a great opportunity for me. I am looking forward to taking on this new challenge and learning from the commercial team along the way.”
