Beal Homes developmentCONSULTING engineers Alan Wood & Partners are expanding from Hull, taking up a site in Lincoln.

In a deal managed by Garness Jones, Alan Wood & Partners have taken their technical workforce to more than 90 with the move to the Beal Homes development at Burton Waters.

Neil Read, a director of Alan Wood & Partners, said: “Our head office is in Hull and we also operate from York, Scarborough and Sheffield.

“We relocated our Sheffield office last Christmas from the Advanced Manufacturing Park to a new business park adjacent to Meadowhall and now we’ve expanded into Lincoln.

“There are four people working in Lincoln at the moment but there is the space to accommodate our growth plan to increase that to 12, further expanding our business which has grown from 60 people to more than 95 in the last couple of years.”

Paul White, agency director at Garness Jones, said: “This is one of the prime sites that we are working on in the wider Yorkshire and Humber region, and it is good to be involved with Alan Wood & Partners and Beal Homes, two other well-established Hull businesses.

“We were engaged to market nine units which were built by Beal Holmes after they completed the latest residential phase at the site. In recent months we’ve seen the opening of a Mediterranean restaurant and a private medical care office.

“Now Alan Wood & Partners have completed their move and we expect to complete additional deals very soon.”
