I haven’t yet been on the North York Moors Railway – I’ve always meant to do this as the scenery is meant to be stunning.
What is the most memorable meal you’ve ever had?
Most definitely the Box Tree in Ilkley – sumptuous surroundings and exquisite food!
What is your most Yorkshire trait?
I love to do a Sunday roast with Yorkshire Puddings and all the trimmings – I like to make my own Yorkshires with our own free range eggs.

That Yorkshire has a larger population than Scotland and an economy twice the size of Wales

Dame Judy Dench – such a star

Trying to get in to Yorkshire across the M62!
What is one thing you’d steal from Lancashire (or other UK regions) if you could?
We have everything from parkland to moorland, coastland and some great dales but I would probably steal a Selfridges department store if I could!
What is the most overrated thing about Yorkshire?
I don’t think we’re quite as tight as many make out!
