Appointments: Shrewdd Marketing, Sheffield UTC, Moneyway

YORKSHIRE’S Shrewdd Marketing has added two members to its team as it continues its expansion into 2016.
Halifax-based Shrewdd has taken on Jack Eustace as an account executive and Brian Miah in the role of business development executive.
Mr Eustace, a graduate from De Montfort University in Leicester, comes from a background of business to business public relations and marketing communications having previously worked for a large marketing company based in Stafford.
Mr Miah brings a wealth of experience having previously worked in business development for a range of companies over a 21 years.

SHEFFIELD’S second University Technical College has itself a new principal.
Sarah Clark will be in charge of UTC Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park campus, which is due to open in September 2016.
The £10m facility will house 600 students, aged 14 to 19 specialising in human sciences and computing. It is currently under construction on the Olympic Legacy Park.
Ms Clark said: “I feel privileged to lead such an exciting new facility that is building on the success of Sheffield’s first UTC. Both institutions offer students high quality technical as well as traditional academic qualifications, so they get the skills that employers need to grow.”
Sarah, who has a PhD in Molecular Genetics and a BSc in Microbiology. Prior to joining UTC Sheffield, Sarah was principal at Landau Forte Academy Sixth Form in Tamworth, West Midlands.
The Sheffield College is the lead sponsor of both of the city’s UTCs. Sheffield Hallam University and Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and Industry are co sponsors.

THE motor finance arm of AIM-listed Secure Trust Bank, Moneyway, has strengthened its presence in the North East and South East regions with the appointments of Gaynor Atkinson and Lee Fountain as account managers.
Ms Atkinson joins from Benfield Corporate Motoring, where she worked as group business development manager. In her year with the company she was responsible for delivering fleet solution services on behalf of the Benfield brand.
Mr Fountain worked as an account development manager at Logbook Loans from 2007, before his promotion to area manager in 2013.
The appointments form part of an on-going recruitment drive, with the firm recently increasing its sales team by 20%.
