The Botanist launches indie pop up gig tour

OWNER of Leeds City centre pub The Botanist, New World Trading Company (NWTC) is celebrating

its 10,000 th live music gig with a national tour.

To celebrate the milestone, NWTC has teamed up with Warrington acoustic duo, Kick Back Sundays

who will be touring the UK in a vintage campervan and playing intimate gigs across all 14 NWTC sites, including The Botanist on Albion Street next Saturday.

General Manager at The Botanist, Robbie Layburn said: “We are proud to champion local talent,

giving them a platform to perform in their local area.

“A lot of our artists have gone on to play at customer’s weddings, birthdays and events as a result of a

gig at The Botanist which is great!”

There is also a chance to win tickets, travel and accommodation for the final celebratory event in

Manchester on the 31 st July, and for runners up – the opportunity to win an £100 bar tab in Leeds.
