Outsourced communications business pledges 1,200 jobs after record year

AN outsourced communications firm in Hull which provides sales and support services for blue chip companies says it expects to create 1,200 jobs over the next three years after a “transformational year.”
ResQ has reported its best year of trading with sales growing by 22% to £12.5m and over £1m EBITDA achieved in 2015.
This year the firm also opened a new call centre in Seaham, County Durham, with the creation of 1,200 jobs expected over the next three years in IT, HR, training and support roles.
Advised by Mazars, the company has seen its turnover and profitability grow through what it said were a number of strategic operational enhancements including a complete change in the firm’s internal IT structure.
These changes have improved ResQ’s service delivery performance, which in turn has strengthened existing customer relationships resulting in organic growth. The firm’s expansion is also being driven by customers who are returning contracts from overseas.
A family owned and run business, ResQ provides sales and support services for many large blue chip clients across the digital, energy, retail and insurance sectors.
ResQ currently employs nearly 700 people at its offices in Hull.
