Thai tapas restaurant set for York
A VACANT restaurant site is getting a new lease of life as a Thai restaurateur takes up the York space for his newest venture.
Surveyors Barry Crux & Co facilitated the letting of 19 Grape Lane to Mr Komgree Santakollakarn of Khao San Road on Walmgate and Rice Style on Bishopthorne Road.
He will be opening a Thai tapas restaurant at the site.
19 Grape Lane had been occupied by the same Restaurant 19 since the 1990’s and had revamped in 2006 to Nineteen.
It closed in August this year as owners looked into new projects.
