Where do you live and where are you from?

I live in Otley and I am from Teeside originally.

What is your favourite place to visit in Yorkshire and why?

My favourite part of Yorkshire hast to be Chevin Forest, because I lose myself in the forest and it lets me feel free to rebalance my day and life.

What is still on your ‘to do’ list in the region?

There’s loads I would still love to do – for a start I would love to cycle around it. I don’t think I have even touched the sides of exploring Yorkshire yet.

What is your most memorable meal in Yorkshire?

My most memorable meal in Yorkshire hast to be the Global Tribe Café in Leeds city centre – it’s stunning and the food is delicious.

What is your most Yorkshire trait?

Umm I don’t know if I am totally honest. I don’t think I have any Yorkshire traits. My son however has developed quite a Yorkshire accent.

What is your favourite piece of trivia about the region?

I love the York Minster! Did you know, for example, that it’s the largest Gothic cathedral in northern Europe?

What or who is your favourite cultural icon to come out of Yorkshire?

I think because both myself and my children are massively into sport, my favourite icons to come out of Yorkshire Lizzie Armistead.

Worst experience or thing about Yorkshire?

The worst thing about Yorkshire for me has to be the ring road around Leeds; it freaked me out the first time I drove round it – I do believe I cried.

What is the one thing you would steal from another region and bring to Yorkshire?

The one thing I would steal from the far north (where I’m from) is the real honesty there.

What is the most overrated thing about Yorkshire?

Sorry, can’t fault it!
