Latest Appointments: Creativesheffield boost business investment team, Craftsmans Tools appoint and more

CREATIVESHEFFIELD, the city development company, has appointed an investment development manager to join its business investment team.

Steve Wainwright will act as an account manager for key local businesses alongside Alan Lyons.

Mr Wainwright joined the company from Kostal UK, an automotive products supplier, bringing with him 20 years experience within manufacturing.

Director of business investment at Creativesheffield, David Fletcher said: ” We are delighted to welcome Steve to Creativesheffield.

“With his successful track record in both technical and commercial roles, he is well placed to fulfil this vital role and I’m sure will be an asset for the businesses he works with.”

CRAFTSMAN Tools, the Otley-based engineering company, has recruited a new financial controller.

Tim Gillett joined the firm, which specialises in toolholding and workholding equipment, after more than 20 years within the manufacturing industry for companies such as MSI and textile company Woodrow-Universal.

Mr Gillett succeeds Kevin Gibson, who retired from the role recently.

THE Leeds-based manufacturer of door and wall protection products, Harrison Thompson, has expanded its UK sales division with the addition of two new team members.

Steve Moss and Jason Chambers will be responsible for the sales of Yeoman Shield’s range within those regions focussing on sales to hospitals, schools, airports and offices.
