Media Buzz: MadeByPi delivers for NHS; New head of digital at Gratterpalm; Fantastic Media in office move; and more

LEEDS-based digital agency MadeByPi has been working with NHS Choices to deliver an enhanced search functionality tool for the NHS Choices website.
Health Explorer aims to improve the user’s experience when seeking out information on health-related matters.
The digital project forms part of the content and navigation restructure programme that strengthens the site’s search and information retrieval functionality by centralising the wide range of information available, MadeByPi said.
Paul Lemon, technical director at MadeByPi, said: “We’ve enjoyed working with the team at NHS Choices to develop the new interactive Health Explorer tool. It uses simple design and flash interaction to offer users an alternative and more engaging search experience.”

VITAL Online Studio, based in Harrogate, has completed work on a website for a refrigeration wholesaler that enables the client to synchronise its stock database directly to the site.
Pentland Wholesale now only needs one point of contact for data, guaranteeing a consistent repository of information internally and externally on the new website.
Vital Online Studio, part of Vital Technology Group, last month launched a site for Pentland’s sister company Acme Refrigeration, and is currently building a site for Pentland’s Parts Division.
Andy Topps, sales director of Vital Online Studio, said: “Pentland Wholesale is one of the UK’s premier wholesalers of commercial refrigeration and catering equipment and the company carries over 300 product lines.
“The great advantage of using the direct database link is that it saves them lots of time when updating their stock lines.”
