Access Rentals calls in administrators

ACCESS Rentals, the Telford-based specialist construction equipment hire firm with a branch in Yorkshire, has gone into administration.

The firm, which has nine branches across the UK including one in Bradford, has not yet made any redundancies and all branches are open.

Andy McGill and Mark Orton of KPMG’s Leeds office have been appointed as administors.

Mr McGill said: “”As a supplier of specialist equipment to industries including the construction sector, Access Rentals has been hit hard by the economic downturn. We are continuing to trade all nine branches of the company and are actively seeking a buyer.”
