Speakers to show their metal
LORD Digby Jones, ex-Trade Minister and CBI chairman, and Tom Riordan, chief executive of Yorkshire Forward are keynote speakers at a special event being hosted by the National Metals Technology Centre (NAMTEC).
The event on June 8 at the Advanced Manufacturing Park Technology Centre in Rotherham is aimed at manufacturing and engineering companies looking to gain competitive edge through innovation.
Delegates will also have an opportunity to link regional technology centres within Yorkshire Forward’s Technology Transfer Programme as part of creating business opportunities for industrial companies.
Additionally, there will be presentations by representatives of Business Link Yorkshire, Sheffield First and Yorkshire Bank, as well as intellectual property specialists Lee & Priestley who will discuss Intellectual Property issues to ensure new innovations are properly protected.
