New executive director for Persimmon

YORK-based housebuilder Persimmon has appointed Jeffrey Fairburn as an executive director.

Mr Fairburn, who is currently north division chief executive will take up the new role on June 1.

John White, Persimmon’s chairman. said “Jeff Fairburn’s appointment will strengthen the executive management team of the board, which will be of great benefit to Persimmon as we continue to develop our business.”

Mr Fairburn has worked for the company since 1989 in various roles and assumed his current position in 2005.
