Latest Appointments: Board appointment for Armouries chairman, Masternaut Three X strengthen team and more

YORKSHIRE businesswoman , Ann Green, has been appointed as a non-executive director to the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS).
Ms Green has been chairman at the Royal Armories since 2003 and is also chairman of Hadrian’s Wall Heritage, as well as holding directorships with several private companies.
The DCMS is the government department responsible for policies on arts, sports, tourism and the 2012 Olympics.
DCMS Permanent Secretary, Jonathan Stephens, said: “Ann’s appointment will maintain external input and challenge to the Board. With our existing non-executive directors, I’m sure she will be of great benefit to the department.”
Ms Green’s appointment will run for two years, after which is will be open to renewal.

VEHICLE tracking company, Masternaut Three X, has appointed a new director to lead its partner programme, Affinity.
Amina Majid will be responsible for managing the Affinity programme, and brings with her five years experience managing marketing teams and forming business partnerships.
Affinity is based around Masternauts complete end-to-end solution for businesses on the move, including vehicle tracking and mobile workforce applications, and provides total online support, including marketing materials and training.

LONDON Clubs International, the casino operater responsible for ALEA Casinos, has appointed a new club director to manage its Leeds-based casino.
Tommy Gibbons takes the role of Alea Leeds club director, and will be responsible for driving all aspects of business to the venue at Clarence Dock.
Mr Gibbons has more than 30 years experience in the gaming industry, having previously worked at casinos in Greece and South Africa before returning back to the UK to Alea Leeds.

SHEFFIELD-based architects, Race Cottam, has appointed an architectural assistant to its team.
Alex Mingozzi, will be responsible for assisting the firm’s lead architect role on key new projects such as the new programme of redevelopment at Rotherham General Hospital.
