Oxley beefs up GT

WILL Oxley has been appointed as Transaction Services Partner at Grant Thornton's Leeds office.

He joins the accountancy firm following a decade with the 'big 4' across their London, Leeds and Melbourne offices. He will be responsible for leading the Yorkshire and North East Transaction Services team, providing due diligence, reporting accountant and fundraising activities for corporate, private equity and banking clients.

Mr Oxley said: “This is a fantastic time to join Grant Thornton. Following the successful merger with Robson Rhodes, the combined business is now one of the leading middle market advisory firms in the UK.

Grant Thornton has 22 partners and more than 300 staff across Yorkshire and the North East.

Will, 35, is married with one son and lives in Leeds. Outside of work he enjoys sport having played rugby union for Sale and Newcastle Gosforth in the 1990s and is currently an active member at Alwoodley Golf Club.
