Wilson Field expands to North West

A YORKSHIRE-based insolvency firm has expanded into the North West after opening a city centre office in Manchester’s Spinningfields business district.

Sheffield-based Wilson Field said that its expansion was in response to an influx in new business, which also led to the opening of a new Leeds office six months ago.

The company said that it increased its workforce by around 20% last years as sales grew to £4m, despite the nationwide drop in insolvencies.

The new office will be led by Graham Ingham, who joins the business from Manchester-based insolvency firm Begbies Traynor, who has more than 20 years of financial services experience.

Nick Wilson, managing director of Wilson Field Ltd, said: “I see this as a natural progression for the company. Manchester is the biggest city in the north and I’m thrilled that we are able to take the next step in developing the Wilson Field brand in such a thriving business community.

“Graham has a wealth of commercial experience, a proven track record in sales and business development and a large database of professional contacts.
“He will be raising the profile of Wilson Field in the North West and I am confident that this combined with other marketing efforts will result in more business.”
