Swing Low Sweet Charity
RUGBY fans who put forward teams for this year’s fund-raising Swing Low Sweet Charity tag ruby tournament will get the chance to play with sporting legends.
With an impressive ‘who’s who’ line up of rugby stars companies and individuals can grab the chance of a lifetime – to play with some of rugby’s sporting heroes.
Fresh from the British Lions tour to South Africa, Stephen Jones, Lee Mears and Dwayne Peel, will be heading up the dream team at Harrogate Rugby Club on July 25.
The all star line-up includes Martyn Wood, Simon Easterby, Guy Easterby, Mark Jones, Regan King, Kees Meeuws, Matthew Tait, Matthew Perry, Geordan Murphy, Ben Woods, David Flatman and Danny Grewcock.
The cost of entering a team is just £400 and each of the teams will include one of the 16 star players.
The teams and other revellers can go on to celebrate their sporting success at a gala ball at The Old Swan in the evening, sitting on a table with their star player.
Both events are being held to raise funds for Reach and Ataxia UK.
