Vines to take on new North East role

HSBC Commercial Banking has appointed Mark Vines to regional commercial director for the whole of the North East region.
Mr Vines, who was previously regional commercial director for Yorkshire, will now lead the 290-strong North East commercial banking team across 20 locations including Yorkshire, Teesside, North Lincolnshire and Tyneside in.
He is one of seven new regional commercial directors appointed by the bank across the UK as part of its new regional structure.
He will work alongside 10 area commercial directors to enable SMEs access to financial solutions and advice across areas such as finance and borrowing and international business.
Mr Vines has worked for HSBC for almost 30 years, and has focussed on the Yorkshire and North East area for the last 10 years.
