Appointments: Promotion at Mazars; Cobbetts strengthens financial services offering; and more
THE Leeds office of accounting firm Mazars has promoted Rob Burton to corporate finance director.
Mr Burton joined Mazars’ Leeds corporate finance team in 2005, having previously worked at KPMG and Barclays Bank.
In the past 12 months he has advised on a number of successful transactions, including the sales of Advent Data to DCC, Ice–Pak Seafood Specialists to the Yearsley Group and Precision Polymer Engineering to The IDEX Corporation.

RAY Hugill has joined the financial services team at law firm Cobbetts.
He will be based in the firm’s Leeds office but will also work across Cobbetts’
Birmingham and Manchester offices.
Mr Hugill has 35 years’ experience in the financial services sector, having worked for Halifax, Cheltenham & Gloucester and Bradford & Bingley.
Most recently, he was a director and joint LPA receiver with Templeton LPA.

FINANCE director Emma Dutton and sales and marketing director Stuart Scott have been hired at Hull-based BemroseBooth Paragon, the specialist printer of ticket sales.
Dealing with all legal and financial aspects of the company, Ms Dutton brings with her more than 20 years of experience from the print industry, with prior knowledge of strategic business management and acquisition.
Previously sales and marketing director of Paragon UK, Mr Scott will develop UK and international sales for BemroseBooth Paragon, promoting its product ranges through management of sales and customer services.
