Latest appointments: Board appointment at The Insurance Partnership, Triple boost for Simpson Millar and more

INSURANCE brokers, The Insurance Partnership, has made three appointments to its board.
The company, which has offices in Hull and York, has promoted Richard Tuplin and Kevin Cody to the position of director and Richard Smaje to finance director.
Prior to taking up these new roles, Mr Tuplin was senior associate director for brand and marketing, Mr Cody was senior associate director for sales and Mr Smaje was head of finance.

LEEDS-BASED law firm, Simpson Millar , has welcomed three partners to its newly launched company commercial department.
Philip Downing joins the firm from Brooke North and has experience in all aspects on non-contentious private company matters.
Deborah Powell joins from Eversheds where she was real estate partner and specialises in all aspects of commercial property work.
Steve Esmond joins the firm as employment partner, having previously worked at Hammonds and Shoosmiths.

LANGLEYS Solicitors, the York-based law firm, has appointed four new legal specialists to its family and children law unit.
Laura Sargeant and Anna Mosey will qualify as solicitors in September, and Anna Sutcliffe and Kim Denton join the firm as trainee legal executives.

LEGAL recruitment specialist, Sellick Partnership, has a new addition to its Leeds-based team.
Sarah Hughes joins the firm as a specialist legal consultant, recruiting on behalf of organisations within the not-for-profit and public sector.
