Technology awards to show off Northern excellence

TECHNOLOGY firms have only a few weeks to enter the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 and debuting Technology Green 15 awards.

Deadline for entries is August 31 and according to Rob Seldon, technology partner at Deloitte in Leeds, application has never been simpler.

“There has never been a more important time for businesses to highlight their achievements,” said Mr Seldon.

“These awards are an opportunity for technology businesses to gain recognition for their successes and achievements through the turbulent environment of the previous 12 months.”

He added: “There are already strong signs that our region supports innovators and adopters of sustainable energy production and energy efficient technologies.”

Companies entering the newly launched Technology Green 15 awards will have to meet Fast 50 eligibility but also show that more than 50% of the company’s revenues come from products or services that have a positive environmental impact such as global warming prevention and energy saving, resources circulation, and environmental preservation and safety.
