Investment deal for office park

A WEST Yorkshire office park has been sold for £1.5m.

Mortec Office Park in Leeds has been sold by property consultants King Sturge on behalf of property unit trust, Falcon Property Trust, of London, and has been acquired by a private buyer.

Mortec Office Park, which was extensively refurbished nine years ago, comprises six purpose-built, self-contained office units and a refurbished grade two-listed building providing 24, 245 sq ft of office space.

The estate is subject to a 999 year lease from March 2000.

Ben Hal, associate in King Sturge’s Leeds-based investment team, said: “This sale, which is further evidence of investment deals returning to the Yorkshire commercial property market, offers good asset management potential for the buyer who will benefit from an attractive return on their investment.”
