TheBusinessDesk.com poll: Economy is on the way back up

THE ongoing debate on whether the economy is through the worst of the recession has generated a mixed response from respondents to the latest TheBusinessDesk.com online poll.

Thirty-nine per cent of those who took took part in the survey said they believed the economy was through the worst of the recession.

More than a quarter (26%) of those who responded said more pain was to come, while 35% said it was hard to tell either way.
