Communisis extends Equifax partnership

COMMUNISIS, the marketing services provider, has signed an extension to its data services partnership agreement with Equifax.

The partnership, originally signed in May 2010, has been extended to include access for Leeds-based Communisis to the complete range of Equifax credit and risk data sets that can be used for marketing.

These data sets, taken together, offer an accurate, up-to-date and detailed insight into more than 300 different consumer characteristics, drawn from more than 39m UK residents.

Communisis believes the data will create a “powerful tool” for its marketing services client base.

Andy Blundell, chief executive of Communisis, said: “Today, I am pleased to say that we have launched a range of data solutions which will allow our customers to benefit from even greater data granularity, accuracy and breadth, helping them to target increasingly sophisticated consumers in a manner that meets a clear need, understands individual consumer circumstances and generates the greatest return possible on targeted consumer marketing campaigns.”

Shawn Holtzclaw, managing director of Equifax, said: “The challenge for marketers in the current climate is to be able to create truly insightful data strategies that provide a clear understanding of individual consumer wants and needs, which they need to be able to do quickly and cost-effectively.

“By working with Communisis we can continue to enable its clients to deliver communications based on real customer intelligence.”
