Dyke and Jones team up with Yorkshire firms

YORKSHIRE businesses are being offered the opportunity to take part in an international business event featuring Lord Digby Jones, Greg Dyke and top economist Dennis Turner.
The event is being held as part of the International Business Network and is co-hosted by UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) and the University of York.
Two representatives of companies from the region working internationally will join a panel alongside former Minister of Trade & Investment and CBI director general Lord Jones, former BBC director general and current chancellor of the University of York Greg Dyke and HSBC chief economist Dennis Turner.
The panel will be chaired by David Parkin, Editor of TheBusinessDesk.com.
It is being held on Monday November 9 from 11am to 2.30pm at the National Science Learning Centre, University of York.
The event will concentrate on all aspects of international business, looking at the opportunities on offer to firms from the region who already trade abroad or who are looking to expand internationally.
