Yorkshire Bank economist to deliver insight on food sector fortunes

FOOD companies in Yorkshire are to get a run down on how the global economic recovery can affect their business from Yorkshire Bank’s chief economist.

On October 9, Tom Vosa, head of market economics at Yorkshire Bank, will deliver a presentation on how changes in the global economy affect food manufacturers to audiences at four Yorkshire Bank Financial Solutions Centres (FSC), in Leeds, York, Hull and Doncaster.

The morning presentation – ‘Overview and Outlook for Food Manufacturers’ – will be followed by a questions and answers session followed by networking lunches at each FSC.

Yorkshire Bank regional director for integrated financial solutions Kath Myers said: “Our integrated financial solutions approach to banking is proving very popular with a range of businesses including food processors which represent a strong sector in this region.

“Tom Vosa is an eminent economist with particular insights into how changes in the global economy affect such businesses and his talk is sure to include valuable information to help their strategic decision making.”
