Endless man Ley steps up to partner

TURNAROUND fund Endless has promoted Warwick Ley, the head of its Manchester office, to partner.

Mr Ley joined the Leeds-based private equity firm in 2006 and has been responsible for developing the Manchester office.

He previously worked with fellow partners Garry Wilson and Darren Forshaw at the accountancy firms Andersen and Ernst & Young.

In a statement Endless said: “This is a fantastic achievement for Warwick and reflects the strength of the Endless business, but primarily the success that Warwick has had in leading Endless in Manchester and the North-West of England for the past four years.”

In recent years Mr Ley has handled the portfolio management and sale of the Manchester furniture business Neville Johnson and the acquisition of Darwen-based Crown Paints. Mr Ley, an Australian, came across to the UK in 1997 on a short-term secondment.
