Expansion continues at Wilson Field

A YORKSHIRE business turnaround and insolvency specialist has expanded its workforce for the third time in less than 12 months.
Wilson Field, which operates nationwide and is based in Sheffield, has appointed more staff to work across all sectors of the company bringing the total workforce to 57, totalling a 30% increase in the last year alone.
The new recruits include the appointments of in-house accountant Steve Hanstock and marketing executive Jo Chan, as well as recent hires in Leeds and Manchester.
Phil Meekin has been made head of marketing while Rob Dymond has recently qualified and is applying for his license to be an insolvency practitioner.
The latest recruitment drive follows Wilson Field’s record turnover of more than £4m in its last financial year.
The business has seen consistent growth since it began trading in 2001, and has recently expanded to operate out of Manchester and Leeds city centre bases as well as its headquarters on Ecclesall Road South, Sheffield.
Managing director Nick Wilson said: “This latest recruitment drive is a sign that the company continues to go from strength-to-strength.
“The appointment of our in-house accountant and our newest qualified IP will increase our capacity for case work.
“The last 12 months has been extremely positive with the company’s expansion into Leeds and Manchester, record financial results and growth of the Wilson Field team. The future of the company looks extremely healthy and I’m looking forward to what the next 12 months will bring.”
